EXECUTIVE PRODUCER:
Executive producer of the Eddie Adams Workshop, is a Dutch freelance photographer specializing in environmental portraits, travel, documentary, and adventure photography. During her career, she has traveled to more than 65 countries capturing the diversity of people and cultures in the most exotic places in the world. Her photographs have been published in the New York Times, AARP, Outdoor Photographer, PDN, American Photo, Popular Photography, and Digital Photo. Her corporate clients include Nikon, Lowepro, Lensbaby, Epson, and Visa. Evers is one of the founding members for Photo Quest Adventures, a unique photography company dedicated to giving back and making a difference in the world through photography.
ASSOCIATE PRODUCERS: Kate Bubacz
has been an award-wining photographer for almost 30-years. He just celebrated his 11th year as a Technical Representative with Nikon Professional Services. During his time with Nikon he has been on assignments that include NASA Shuttle Launches, expeditions to Base Camp of Mount Everest, Galapagos Ecuador and river trips down the Colorado River. He has covered Presidential inauguration ceremonies, World Cup Soccer, Hurricane coverage, and six Olympics. Mark is a graduate from Syracuse University’s Military Photojournalism program. He is the recipient of more photojournalistic awards than he feels he deserves, including the prestigious National Press Photographer’s Military Photographer of the Year. After almost 30 years as a photographer, he now does his best to mentor to those who are willing to listen to him speak about his passion - making pictures. Mark works with photographers from Newsweek, US News & World Report, Sports Illustrated, and National Geographic and numerous papers across the country. He recently published a book with fellow photographer Bill Fortney, America From 500 Feet II.
is as eleven-year veteran of the “Black Team” at EAW and was a student on the 2003 purple team. During his 20-year Navy career, Aho photographed in 41 countries. After graduating from the Advanced Military Photojournalism program at Syracuse University, Aho started working as a combat photojournalist at Combat Camera, Atlantic, where he completed tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay Cuba. He is a four-time first place winner at the Military Photographer of the Year competition in different categories and he recently won the prestigious Communicator Award for “The Road to Recovery” a photo documentary about burn patients’ recovery. Aho is the national program director of the Shootoff Visual Media workshops, which is an annual 4-day photography workshop in D.C. and San Diego. He is also a founding member of Legion Photo photo agency.
IT CHIEF:
is currently a full-time professional photographer working for Nikon Professional Services. He provides technical support and consulting to pro photographers, including newspaper, industrial, police and forensic, medical photography, commercial studios, audio-visual production houses and the U.S. Government. Prior to Nikon he worked for two years at the Associated Press where he monitored the flow of photos transmitted to the State Photo Center by AP staff, freelance and member photographers and photo editors in all 50 states. Suban began his career in the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served for 21 years. There he managed photographers for presidential inaugurations, developed and taught multimedia curriculum, planned and operated photo workshops, contests and managed Air Force multimedia centers in Europe and in Washington, DC. served in the U.S. Navy as a photojournalist, photo editor and media/public relation’s officer. He capped off his 25-year Navy career with a tour to Baghdad, Iraq. He also photographed the pre-trials of Saddam Hussein, the discovery of mass graves and military operations in Iraq. Scott is presently the regional deputy director for public affairs for the Department of Labor in Chicago and continues to do freelance photography in the Midwest. He won numerous national and military photojournalism awards, including Navy Photojournalist of the Year. Scott was a student in 1988.
